About Me:
I am McKenzie Masten, a graphic designer, multimedia artist, photographer and more. I graduated in June 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts and minors in both Business and Communication Studies. I have been working with graphic design since my high school years when I got involved with, and became the editor of, my high school yearbook. After I got involved with yearbook, I fell in love with design, and early in my high school career, I became the graphic designer for a small winery in my hometown. After I have moved away for college, I have continued to do their design work for them.
As I have tried to get more and more experience throughout the years, I have taken on various jobs and projects. One amazing gig that I had was a Multimedia Internship with the University of Oregon’s Office of International Affairs, where I was shooting and edit video, taking photographs, doing graphic design work, and learning web design.
The summer before (2012) I was in Dublin, Ireland, as a graphic design intern. During this experience I was a intern for Watermark Cards, a greeting card company, and I was working on an online personalized card site they were launching.
Besides work experience and design, I have other passions in life; the biggest of these being travel. I have been lucky enough to both intern abroad in Dublin, Ireland, and study abroad in Siena, Italy. These were both amazing experiences and only further insured that I have the travel bug. My biggest aspiration in life is to simply see everything and learn as much as I can about the other cultures in this world.
